I don’t know. We blame this obsession on National Geographic. 

In any event, if you are going to name your brand The Standard Hippo Company – you damn well better have a shirt with a hippo on it. Here is one of the initial sketches for the new logo… (yes – it’s kind of cute)

We thought about putting eyes on it, but it gave it too much of a personality…

And it looked too damn happy.
